Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Here is one of our favourite recipes and it’s super easy to make!

HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS – Adapted from Saladmaster Sam

 1 bulb of garlic (cone #1)

2 Tbsp. of ginger (cone #1)

4 Tbsp. GF soy sauce/tamari (San-Jay)

½ cup honey

1 lb. of chicken wings, rinsed

SALADMASTER:  In your 5 qt. pot, shred the ginger and garlic on your saladcutter.  Place the pot on the stove uncovered and turn the burner to medium.  Leave it there for a short while and then add the rest of the ingredients to the pot and stir/mix it all together.  Place the lid on top.  Once the lid starts to click, turn the burner to low and let it cook for about 15 minutes.  Stir again and turn the heat back up to medium.  Turn it to low, once again, when the lid starts to click.  Leave them on the stove until the sauce has thickened (this may take a while).

 SLOW COOKER:  Mix the first four ingredients together and pour into your slow cooker.  Heat up on medium temperature and add chicken.  Leave in slow cooker, stirring every once in a while.  Serve once the chicken is ready.
